Questions, answered
Is my card really not charged?
Correct — nothing is charged when you book online. Your card simply holds your chair so the studio can plan their day. You pay in person at your appointment, with 10% off. Your card details are encrypted and never sent by email.
Who qualifies for the 10% off?
This is a new-customer offer for first-time Drybar Ballston visitors. If you've never had a blowout with us, this one's for you. The promotion ends October 31, 2026.
Which days can I book?
This offer books Mondays and Tuesdays. Need another day? Call the studio and we'll take care of you at the regular price.
Why do I have to book 48 hours ahead?
Our stylists are in high demand and we want to guarantee you the right person for your style. Booking at least two days out lets us prep your perfect appointment.
What if my time isn't available?
If the studio can't accommodate your exact slot, we'll call you right away to find one that works. You can also call us anytime to rebook.
How long does it take?
About 45 minutes from wash to wow. Come a few minutes early to settle in and enjoy a drink.
What if I have thicker or longer hair?
The standard blowout appointment is 45 minutes. Some styles or hair types need extra time to finish comfortably without rushing, so we also offer an Extended Time Blowout: up to 90 minutes for an additional $30, or up to 120 minutes for an additional $60. Not sure which is right for you? Our team is happy to help.

We're tucked behind CVS
Our address is 4238 Wilson Blvd, but Drybar sits in an outdoor corridor tucked behind CVS, so it's not visible from the street. Use the directions below to find us easily!
By Metro
Take the Orange or Silver Line to Ballston–MU Station. Exit toward Wilson Blvd, about a one-block walk to the mall. Enter Ballston Quarter and follow either route here.
Parking, only $1/hour
Head to the Ballston Public Parking Garage, 627 N. Glebe Rd. Enter from N. Glebe Road or N. Randolph Street; parking is $1/hour with plenty of availability. Take the elevator to Level 1 (street level), exit toward Capital One, then continue through the sliding glass doors. Drybar is just outside.
Walking in off Wilson Blvd
CVS shortcut (recommended): enter CVS from Wilson Blvd, walk straight through, exit out the back and turn right. Drybar is on your right. Main mall entrance: enter between Ted's Bulletin and Truth Food Kitchen, turn left, pass Capital One, and go through the sliding glass doors. Drybar is on your left.
Cancellations, no-shows & running late

Cancel or change
You may cancel or change your appointment up to 12 hours before it starts, free of charge. Within 12 hours of your appointment, a $25 cancellation fee applies to the card on file. To cancel or change, just call the studio.
No-shows
If you no-show or no-call your appointment, your card on file will be charged the full price of the service. Your card details are encrypted and used only in accordance with this no-show and cancellation policy.
Running late
Things come up — we get it. If you're running late, we may need to adjust, reschedule, or cancel the service based on the time left, and a $25 fee may apply for cancellations due to lateness. Thank you for understanding!
